What to do if a new managing agency takes over

Challenge: A PT is working in a SNF for some years. A new managing agency takes over. They cut the benefits, cut vacation time and require therapists to take work home to complete the extensive documentation required by Medicare. (of course, they are not paid for the time they spend documenting at home.) Everyone in the rehab department is overworked, underpaid and doing the best they can to provide good service to patients, but it is obvious they cannot continue to provide the level of care they are accustomed to providing. Should any action be taken to improve morale, improve standards, provide great care, or address the needs of the staff?
