Continuing education courses emphasize clinical application, using a PowerPoint presentation, overhead or slide format and extensive hands-on practice. Course handouts are provided for all seminars. Participants are encouraged to review relevant anatomy and physiology prior to attending, and to bring lab clothes such as halter tops, swimsuits, shorts, or a hospital gown for practice. Students are strongly encouraged to bring their massage tables, mats, and/or blankets and pillows to practice upon. Access to the body is a must for optimal learning. Many seminars offer CEUs for participants. All courses may be tailored to fit time slots from half-day in-services to full day or weekend seminars. These courses are open to licensed health and medical professionals and students of accredited programs only.
